About the Opportunity:
Epitec is seeking an experienced Recruiter 3 to support hiring initiatives for Caterpillar’s Construction Industries division. This role is responsible for full-cycle recruiting, partnering with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, source and assess talent, manage offers, and drive hiring outcomes for professional and salaried positions.
The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments and will excel at managing multiple requisitions while delivering a strong candidate and hiring manager experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for salaried and professional-level positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop recruiting strategies.
- Facilitate intake meetings, create requisitions, and manage candidate pipelines.
- Source, screen, interview, and present qualified candidates.
- Manage offer creation, negotiation, and onboarding communications.
- Provide recruiting updates and market insights to business leaders.
- Utilize ATS, CRM, and sourcing tools to maintain accurate candidate data and reporting.
- Build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Collaborate with recruiting coordinators and sourcing partners to ensure an efficient hiring process.
- Drive positive candidate and hiring manager experiences throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Monitor recruiting metrics and identify opportunities to improve time-to-fill and hiring outcomes.
- Ensure recruitment processes remain compliant with company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of recruiting or human resources experience.
- Associate degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Full-cycle recruiting experience supporting salaried and professional-level positions.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or operations recruiting experience.
- Experience conducting candidate screenings and assessments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Workday or a similar ATS.
- High-volume recruiting experience.
- Experience supporting management-level hiring.
- Strong consultative recruiting and client service approach.
- Experience analyzing recruiting metrics and leveraging data for decision-making.
