Sourcing Manager III supporting data center equipment with a focus on robotics and automation. This role owns vendor strategy, complex sourcing events, and contract negotiations while partnering cross?functionally to ensure cost, quality, and supply continuity across large?scale infrastructure programs.

  • Location: Fremont, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
  • Shift Time: Standard business hours
  • Pay Rate: $79/hr with Benefits

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage strategic supplier relationships, including performance scorecards, business reviews, and issue escalation
  • Lead sourcing initiatives end?to?end: market and technology analysis, RFI/RFQ execution, proposal evaluation, and supplier award decisions
  • Develop and execute negotiation strategies; close MPAs, MSAs, SOWs, and applicable software licensing agreements
  • Build and maintain should?cost models, market benchmarks, and cost/risk reporting
  • Partner with cross?functional stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing quality, operations, construction, and demand/supply planning
  • Drive supply assurance and capacity planning through forecasting, materials planning, qualification, and allocation support
  • Prepare and present metrics related to supplier performance, supply chain health, and risk

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain management
  • Proven experience with complex contract negotiations (RFIs/RFQs, MPAs, MSAs, SOWs)
  • Strong supplier performance and cost analytics experience (scorecards, QBRs, should?cost models)
  • Working knowledge of robotics and automation technologies and supply chain integration
  • Experience with enterprise systems (SAP, Oracle)
  • Ability to work with SQL and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for supplier and performance reporting
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS or MBA
  • Experience supporting automation, robotics, warehouse, or logistics environments
  • Exposure to AI or robotics software licensing and supplier requirements
  • Advanced understanding of supply chain operations including forecasting, qualification, allocation, materials, and quality/reliability
