Sourcing Manager III supporting data center equipment with a focus on robotics and automation. This role owns vendor strategy, complex sourcing events, and contract negotiations while partnering cross?functionally to ensure cost, quality, and supply continuity across large?scale infrastructure programs.

- Location: Fremont, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
- Shift Time: Standard business hours
- Pay Rate: $79/hr with Benefits
Responsibilities
- Own and manage strategic supplier relationships, including performance scorecards, business reviews, and issue escalation
- Lead sourcing initiatives end?to?end: market and technology analysis, RFI/RFQ execution, proposal evaluation, and supplier award decisions
- Develop and execute negotiation strategies; close MPAs, MSAs, SOWs, and applicable software licensing agreements
- Build and maintain should?cost models, market benchmarks, and cost/risk reporting
- Partner with cross?functional stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing quality, operations, construction, and demand/supply planning
- Drive supply assurance and capacity planning through forecasting, materials planning, qualification, and allocation support
- Prepare and present metrics related to supplier performance, supply chain health, and risk
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain management
- Proven experience with complex contract negotiations (RFIs/RFQs, MPAs, MSAs, SOWs)
- Strong supplier performance and cost analytics experience (scorecards, QBRs, should?cost models)
- Working knowledge of robotics and automation technologies and supply chain integration
- Experience with enterprise systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to work with SQL and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for supplier and performance reporting
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- MS or MBA
- Experience supporting automation, robotics, warehouse, or logistics environments
- Exposure to AI or robotics software licensing and supplier requirements
- Advanced understanding of supply chain operations including forecasting, qualification, allocation, materials, and quality/reliability
