Summary
We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support end-to-end sourcing activities across multiple commodities. This role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, leading supplier evaluations, managing negotiations, and finalizing contracts. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively manage competing priorities, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver results-driven sourcing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform sourcing activities across assigned commodities, ensuring alignment between business requirements, sourcing strategy, and execution.
  • Define, finalize, and gain concurrence on sourcing requirements, assessment criteria, and negotiation strategies with internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate supplier proposal analysis, including bid evaluations and cost comparisons.
  • Lead supplier negotiations, including commercial and legal contractual terms.
  • Finalize contracts and support reviews of existing agreements to ensure compliance and value.
  • Collaborate in an interdependent, team-oriented environment to support strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare and deliver clear written and verbal communications, presentations, and documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing purchasing or sourcing strategies.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with bid analysis, contract negotiation, and contract review.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience negotiating legal contractual terms.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of project management experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Demonstrated customer focus, influence, strategic thinking, and results-driven mindset.
  • Intermediate quantitative research skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
