Pay Rate: $68-72 per hour

Position Summary:
Blue Origin is seeking an experienced Subcontract Administrator III to support Supply Chain Management (SCM) and New Product Integration (NPI) initiatives. This role is responsible for managing cradle-to-grave procurement activities, supporting supplier integration efforts, and partnering with cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure materials, components, and services are delivered on time and meet program requirements. Strong aerospace procurement experience and supplier management skills are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cradle-to-grave procurement activities including sourcing, quoting, negotiating, awarding, administering, and closing purchase orders and subcontracts.
- Support New Product Integration (NPI) initiatives and supplier onboarding activities.
- Procure hardware, components, materials, and services in support of aerospace programs.
- Track open orders, supplier commitments, and delivery schedules to ensure on-time performance.
- Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to align procurement strategy with program objectives.
- Build and maintain supplier relationships while managing performance issues and escalations.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, terms, and conditions to achieve best value.
- Maintain procurement documentation, records, and reporting requirements.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within supply chain processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in subcontract administration, procurement, or purchasing.
- Aerospace industry experience.
- Experience managing cradle-to-grave procurement activities.
- Proven supplier management, order tracking, and follow-up experience.
- Experience working in cross-functional IPT environments.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Kent, WA or Florida.
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable export control regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting New Product Integration (NPI) or new product introduction programs.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Costpoint.
- Knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations.
- Familiarity with aerospace supplier quality requirements.
- Strong reporting, analytics, and procurement tracking skills.
- Experience in a high-growth aerospace or manufacturing environment.
