Job Title: Production Supervisor (Midnight Shift)
Location: Onsite
Pay Rate: $35.00 – $38.00 per hour
Shift: Midnight Shift | 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and coordinate manufacturing operations on the midnight shift. This role is responsible for supervising production employees, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, driving operational efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is committed to developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production and operating personnel.
  • Implement initiatives to improve employee engagement, production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Review production operations and collaborate with technical and administrative teams to resolve manufacturing issues and process challenges.
  • Develop and maintain production tracking and quality control systems to monitor performance and identify production concerns.
  • Analyze production, maintenance, and quality data to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Hire, train, coach, evaluate, and discipline employees as necessary.
  • Address employee concerns and support positive employee relations.
  • Establish and monitor production standards to ensure quality products and on-time delivery.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports, performance metrics, and personnel records.
  • Promote and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in Business, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years of manufacturing or production leadership experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and employee development skills.
  • Proven ability to solve problems and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and priorities.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, and quality control methodologies.
  • Understanding of raw materials, equipment, and tools used in manufacturing operations.
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and production documentation.
  • Familiarity with production reporting, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing/production facility environment.
  • Must be comfortable working on the production floor and supporting off-shift operations.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
