Position: Oracle Financial Specialist-Senior
Location: Providence, RI (On-site)

Description: We are seeking a highly technical Oracle Financial Specialist – Senior to lead support, maintenance, enhancement, and development of a highly customized Oracle R12 Financial Management System (FMS). This role requires a 60% technical / 40% functional background with extensive Oracle EBS experience and responsibility for Oracle-to-Workday integrations, custom development, reporting, upgrades, and ongoing system support.

Responsibilities:
- Lead support and enhancement efforts for Oracle EBS R12.2.x Financial Management System (FMS).
- Design, develop, and maintain custom Oracle solutions, integrations, reports, workflows, and extensions.
- Support and expand bridge integrations between Oracle FMS and Workday ERP/HCM for POs, Invoices, GL, Grants, AR, Projects, and Payroll data.
- Partner with Workday integration teams on data mapping and interface development.
- Develop new Oracle reports and modify existing reports to support Workday integrations and business requirements.
- Gather requirements, recommend process improvements, and map business needs to Oracle EBS solutions.
- Perform gap analysis, performance tuning, upgrades, implementations, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with Oracle Support on patches, bugs, and service requests.
- Work closely with DBAs, business users, finance leadership, and IT management.
- Prepare project plans, estimates, milestones, test plans, deployment plans, user guides, and status reports.
- Lead and support future FMS projects focused on automation, process improvement, third-party integrations, risk reduction, and cost savings.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of related experience
- Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Extensive experience with Oracle General Ledger and Subledger Accounting (SLA).
- Understanding of Oracle Grants and Projects modules and their integration with Purchasing, Payables, and OTL.
- Working knowledge of Oracle HRMS and Oracle Time & Labor.
- Experience supporting highly customized Oracle Financial environments.
- Ability to gather requirements, recommend process improvements, and map business needs to Oracle EBS solutions.
