Supply Management Planner
Location: Grovetown, GA 30813 (Onsite)
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM EST (must be onsite by 7:00 AM)
Overtime: Possible
Employment Type: W2 Contract
Contract Duration: 12 Months

Position Overview
The Supply Management Planner is responsible for coordinating supplier activity, ensuring timely material delivery, and supporting production operations. This role works closely with suppliers, internal teams, and logistics to resolve issues, improve performance, and maintain supply continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate daily with suppliers to manage delivery schedules and ensure on-time performance
- Manage hot part requests, aged ASNs, goods receipt compliance issues, and supplier recovery plans
- Partner with Supply Management Specialists to maintain supplier relationships and drive performance improvements
- Monitor supplier metrics and implement corrective actions as needed
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using established performance frameworks
- Troubleshoot shipping and receiving issues to ensure accurate and timely supplier payments
- Analyze data to ensure alignment with business and production objectives
- Schedule and expedite delivery of materials to support production plans, including recommending premium logistics when necessary
- Serve as a key point of contact for logistics-related questions across internal teams and suppliers
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of order fulfillment processes
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of unit operations and manufacturing processes
- Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Willingness to relocate domestically
Preferred Qualifications
- Supply management or planning experience within a manufacturing environment
- Cross-functional experience in material flow, logistics, operations, or supplier development
- Experience with SAP systems
- Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, and SharePoint
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
OR equivalent relevant work experience
