Job Title: Supply Management Planner

Pay: $22.50/hr
Position Overview
We are seeking a Supply Management Planner to support factory and site operations by managing supplier performance and day?to?day materials planning activities. In this role, you will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure reliable delivery, support inventory management, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
This is a fully onsite position, and candidates must be located in Dubuque, IA, Cary, IL, or Rock Island, IL.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day?to?day supply management and planning activities for assigned suppliers and commodities.
- Maintain regular communication with business?critical suppliers to monitor performance, address issues, and provide feedback related to quality and delivery.
- Track and report supplier performance metrics and assist with resolving supply or delivery concerns.
- Collect and organize data related to cost drivers, market conditions, and supplier capabilities to support sourcing and planning decisions.
- Assist with inventory management activities for a site or factory, following established procedures and escalating issues as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps and supporting improvement initiatives.
- Gather and report information related to existing contract performance to support sourcing or contract renewal activities.
- Coordinate meetings, actions, and follow?ups with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Continue developing supply chain and procurement knowledge through on?the?job learning and training.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong planning, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with data and reports.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with suppliers and cross?functional partners via email and phone.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using basic office or operational systems.
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with materials planning or buying.
- Exposure to SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Understanding of procurement, inventory management, or supply chain processes.
Education
- Post?secondary education (certificate, diploma, or equivalent experience).
Work Arrangement & Location
- 100% onsite work required.
- Candidates must reside in Dubuque, IA; Cary, IL; or Rock Island, IL.
