Supply Management Specialist
Location: Onsite – Cary, NC 27513
Duration: W2 Contract – 24 Months

Pay Rate: $23.00 – $24.50/hr.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 40 hours per week
- Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
- Some schedule flexibility may be available
Position Summary
The Supply Management Specialist provides entry-level sourcing and supply management support, including activities related to the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP) and Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process (EOFP). This role supports supplier performance management, sourcing initiatives, cost analysis, inventory planning, and order fulfillment activities while helping ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Order Fulfillment Process (OFP) activities and support cost-reduction initiatives.
- Analyze supplier quotations and assist with supplier selection based on quality, cost, lead time, process capability, and supplier stability.
- Participate in sourcing, resourcing, and make-versus-buy decisions.
- Collect cost data and assist with supplier cost and industry analyses.
- Support Engineering Change Management (ECM) activities to ensure design changes are implemented efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Develop and execute inventory plans to achieve inventory and material flow objectives.
- Resolve shipping, receiving, invoicing, and payment issues to ensure accurate supplier payments.
- Monitor supplier performance using established supplier management processes and metrics.
- Assist in identifying, resolving, and preventing supplier performance issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Quality and Engineering.
- Manage day-to-day supplier communications and relationships.
- Expedite parts and materials as needed to support business requirements.

Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following:
- Supply Chain Management
- Business
- Agricultural Business
- Accounting
