Electronics Test Technician

We’re seeking a hands-on Electronics Test Technician to support the testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic products in a laboratory environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with electronics, electrical, automotive, robotics, automation, military, or technical troubleshooting experience who enjoy working with their hands and solving problems.
Responsibilities
- Perform testing of electronic assemblies and products.
- Troubleshoot issues and identify root causes of failures.
- Set up and operate test and lab equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Document test results and maintain product records.
- Perform maintenance on equipment and testing systems.
- Work independently while supporting engineering and production teams.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Technical Diploma, military electronics training, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year of related experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering diagrams.
- Experience using computers, Microsoft Office, and documentation systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Electronics testing or repair
- Electrical work or electrician background
- Automotive diagnostics and repair
- Robotics, automation, or mechatronics
- Networking or communications hardware
- Manufacturing environments
- Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
Additional Details
- Fully onsite position in Fargo, North Dakota.
- Candidates must be willing to relocate if not local.
- Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (training may occur on 1st shift initially).
- Drug screen required.
- Metatarsal safety footwear required.
- Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
