Job Title: Mechanical Assembler III 

Location:  Pasadena, TX 

Job Type: 12 month, On Going Contract, W2 

Expected hours per week: 40 hours per week, potential for overtime 

Schedule: On-site, 7am-3:45pm, Monday-Friday  

Pay Range:  $19.00 per hour  

Job Description:  

Position Summary 

  • We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler to support the assembly, testing, and inspection of smart valve interface products. This role is responsible for assembling small mechanical and electronic components, performing functional testing, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electromechanical assembly processes and testing procedures within a manufacturing environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Review and follow internal SVI assembly procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements. 

  • Assemble small mechanical components and sourced electronic modules at various stages of production. 

  • Utilize mechanical hand tools and assembly equipment to build Smart Valve Interface (SVI) units. 

  • Perform functional, electrical, and operational testing on completed assemblies to verify performance and quality. 

  • Inspect assembled products for accuracy, workmanship, and compliance with specifications. 

  • Troubleshoot and identify assembly or testing issues, escalating concerns as needed. 

  • Document assembly and test results in accordance with company procedures. 

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to all safety guidelines. 

  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support manufacturing objectives. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Minimum 1+ year of SVI (Smart Valve Interface) Assembler experience. 

  • Experience assembling small mechanical components and electronic modules. 

  • Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, procedures, and technical documentation. 

  • Experience using mechanical hand tools and assembly equipment. 

  • Knowledge of testing processes and quality inspection procedures. 

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing or production environment. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with electromechanical assembly and testing. 

  • Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards and documentation practices. 

  • Previous experience working with valve control, instrumentation, or industrial electronic products. 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to sit, stand, and perform repetitive assembly tasks for extended periods. 

  • Ability to lift and move materials and components as required. 

  • Manual dexterity necessary to handle small mechanical and electronic parts.
