Mechanical Assembler
Pay: $19.00 – $21.00/hour
Location: Minden, NV
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join a manufacturing team in Minden, NV. This hands-on role involves assembling and testing mechanical components, operating assembly equipment, and preparing finished products for shipment in a climate-controlled production environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components according to work instructions and bill of material requirements
- Perform functional testing on mechanical assemblies
- Test assemble equipment to meet customer and quality standards
- Operate testing equipment following engineering specifications
- Set up, calibrate, and maintain assembly tools
- Prepare completed assemblies for shipment
- Maintain production quality while meeting daily output goals
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, mechanical, or related experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
- Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP, SAP DM, or similar manufacturing systems
- Background in sensor manufacturing, oil & gas, electrical products, or related industries
