Title: Assembly Technician
Location: Skaneateles, New York
Details: Contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, fully onsite role
Pay Rate: 22.90/hr.

Job Summary
We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to assemble, test, inspect, and troubleshoot precision electro-mechanical products. This role requires hands-on experience with small-part assembly, soldering, functional testing, and the use of precision tools while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electro-mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products using documented procedures, BOMs, and work instructions.
  • Perform soldering, wiring, and small-part assembly to support product build requirements.
  • Conduct functional testing and inspections to verify compliance with engineering, customer, and quality standards.
  • Utilize hand tools, torque drivers, and precision assembly equipment to complete accurate, high-quality builds.
  • Identify and report assembly or quality issues while supporting troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet operational objectives.

Years of Experience and Education

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, electronics manufacturing, precision assembly, or a related production environment preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with soldering, small-part assembly, and functional testing preferred.
