Job Type: 12 month, On Going Contract, W2 

Expected hours per week (must include “per week”): 40 hours per week 

Schedule (include days, hours, onsite/hybrid or remote): On-site, 7am-4pm, Monday-Friday  

Pay Range (must include “per hour”):  $30.00 per hour

Job Summary 

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations. In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment used in the manufacturing of non-metallic piping products. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience working with industrial automation systems, and a commitment to maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient production operations. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on equipment used in the production of poly pipe products. 

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and automation-related equipment issues. 

  • Support the installation, upgrade, maintenance, and inspection of industrial control systems. 

  • Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, CNC controls, and other automation equipment to minimize downtime. 

  • Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and performance. 

  • Prepare maintenance reports, document machine faults, and assist in developing maintenance schedules. 

  • Perform equipment inspections and identify opportunities for process and reliability improvements. 

  • Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to reduce equipment outages and improve operational efficiency. 

  • Safely disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble machinery and production equipment. 

  • Maintain compliance with all company safety policies and procedures. 

Required Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance, maintenance technician, or service technician role involving mechanical and electrical/electronic repairs. 

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. 

  • Experience working with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, controls electronics, CNC controls, or related automation systems. 

  • Experience supporting automation equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment. 

  • Ability to diagnose equipment failures and perform repairs safely and efficiently. 

  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance concepts and practices. 

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation. 

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. 

  • Background in manufacturing, production, or industrial processing environments. 

  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). 

  • Familiarity with continuous improvement and root cause analysis methodologies.
