Details: 12-month contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, fully onsite role
Pay Rate: $40.00 – 43.00/hr. with benefit inclusions
Job Summary
This Manufacturing Engineering role focuses on implementing advanced tooling and machining strategies to drive cost savings and production efficiency. The engineer will be responsible for deploying Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) systems and generating in-process component prints to support high-demand lathe operations in a fast-paced factory environment.
Responsibilities

  • Implement new perishable tooling for machining operations.
  • Drive cost savings initiatives across machining processes.
  • Set up and optimize CAM systems from the ground up.
  • Generate component prints based on CMM results.
  • Modify CNC programs and review daily consumable usage.
  • Communicate daily with operations, quality, and leadership teams.
  • Participate in BIQ and stand-up meetings.
  • Address upstream process concerns and collaborate cross-functionally.

Years of Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
  • 8–10 years of industrial experience preferred.
  • Associate’s degree with 12+ years of experience acceptable.
  • No degree with 15+ years of experience also considered.
