Title: Project Manager (Non-IT) 3
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Duration: 12-month contract-option to go internal
Details: 24-month contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, fully onsite position
Pay Rate: $53.36 – 59.09/hr. with benefit inclusions

Responsibilities
Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.

• Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.

• Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.

• Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

• Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.

• Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
Years of Experience and Education

  • Associate’s degree with minimum 5 years’ experience OR
  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years’ additional on the job experience
  • Master’s or above internships/project work will be counted toward experience requirement as long as durations are listed on resume.
  • Prefer electric power/genset/backup power experience, but other industry experience will be considered as long as commercial and business skill sets are evident.
  • Additional experience (above 5 years’) will NOT be considered as overqualified

Technical Skills (Required)

  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple simultaneous projects involving cross-functional technical teams within budgetary and schedule constraints.
  • The position requires Experience in dealing with multiple disciplines such as contractors, consultants, engineering, sales, purchasing, and commissioning agents.
  • Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.
