We are seeking an Assembly Manufacturing Engineer to support loader cab assembly operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working cross-functionally to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and manufacturing efficiency while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Lead and manage small to moderate capital projects from planning through implementation.
- Develop and maintain assembly layouts, labor standards, manufacturing methods, and process sequences.
- Analyze, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, tooling, and technologies that improve operational performance.
- Provide troubleshooting and day-to-day manufacturing support for assembly operations.
- Coordinate activities with suppliers and subcontractors while serving as a primary point of contact.
- Support engineering evaluations, testing, inspections, and implementation activities.
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements through established change management practices.
- Support project schedules, engineering documentation, manufacturing standards, and reporting requirements.
- Develop cost reduction, quality improvement, safety enhancement, and ergonomic improvement initiatives for assembly operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent related experience.
- 1+ years of experience supporting manufacturing processes, quality systems, tooling, preventative maintenance, or facilities.
- Experience with engineering tools and manufacturing execution systems.
- Experience leading and implementing projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with operators, engineers, leadership, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to execute projects with minimal supervision.
