Are you an experienced Data Architect with a passion for designing scalable cloud-based data solutions? We’re seeking a Data Solution Architect to support data ingestion, engineering, design, and modeling initiatives for a leading retail organization.
Location: 100% Remote
Pay Rate: Up to $70hr
Contract Position
Responsibilities:
• Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of enterprise data solutions utilizing Databricks.
• Provide expertise on data systems architecture and API design during project planning phases.
• Drive data design reviews and ensure adherence to architecture best practices.
• Oversee data security and architecture for cloud-based data platforms and products.
• Establish data quality standards and validation strategies.
• Support automated quality engineering and testing processes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or related technology fields.
• Experience designing and implementing modern data platforms and solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture and modeling tools such as ER Studio.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and Databricks.
• Experience with Kafka or other data streaming technologies.
• Proficiency with ETL processes, SQL, big data storage technologies, and the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
