Pay Rate: $80.00 – $82.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential Extension)

Travel: Up to 5%
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Load Balancer Engineer to support and maintain enterprise-scale load balancing infrastructure within a complex IT environment. This role will focus on the design, implementation, administration, and support of F5 load balancing technologies, cloud-based networking solutions, and enterprise DNS services. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise with F5 VIPRION LTM/GTM, cloud load balancing platforms, and Infoblox administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and Global Traffic Manager (GTM) environments.
- Manage F5 configurations including virtual servers, pools, pool members, nodes, monitors, SSL profiles, and iRules.
- Support migration efforts from physical F5 appliances to virtual and cloud-based load balancing solutions.
- Design, implement, and maintain load balancing solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and IBM Cloud.
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability while proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Configure and support global and local load balancing services, DNS, SSL acceleration, HTTP compression, and caching technologies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and business stakeholders to test applications and validate infrastructure changes.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and hardware refresh activities with minimal downtime.
- Provide troubleshooting and support for enterprise network and cloud infrastructure environments.
- Ensure security compliance through regular patching and maintenance of supported systems.
- Manage and administer enterprise Infoblox solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Minimum 3 years of experience configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting F5 VIPRION-based load balancing solutions in enterprise environments.
- Minimum 3 years of experience administering and troubleshooting Cisco networking equipment in enterprise environments.
- Minimum 2 years of experience deploying and supporting cloud-based load balancers, servers, and network systems.
- Strong expertise with:
- F5 VIPRION LTM and GTM
- Virtual F5 environments
- Load balancer migrations
- Global and local load balancing
- DNS services
- SSL acceleration
- HTTP compression and caching
- Enterprise networking concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience deploying and managing Infoblox solutions.
- Experience supporting hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments.
