Pay Rate: $47.50 – 51.75/hr. with benefit inclusions

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support the development of electrical subsystem and component designs for advanced power generation solutions. This role partners closely with engineering project leads and electrical team leads to ensure designs meet customer requirements while supporting aggressive project timelines. The position offers exposure to complex engineering challenges, cross-functional collaboration, and visibility to senior leadership throughout the product development lifecycle. Typical responsibilities span concept development, detailed design, product release, purchasing support, build support, and commissioning support. Based on provided role requirements and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and release electrical subsystem and component designs using Creo and Teamcenter.
  • Design 480V, 208/120V AC, DC, and power distribution systems.
  • Support projects through concept, detailed design, release, purchasing, build, and commissioning phases.
  • Collaborate with local and global engineering teams to meet project requirements and timelines.
  • Create and maintain engineering models, drawings, and documentation.
  • Support manufacturing, troubleshooting, design reviews, and shop-floor investigations as needed.
  • Communicate project status, technical solutions, and design requirements with stakeholders.

Years of Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET) required.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant electrical design or engineering experience.
  • Associate degree with 12+ years of directly related experience may be considered.
  • Master's degree with 6+ years of directly related experience may be considered.
  • Internship experience does not count toward the required experience.
