Job Description:  

Position Overview
We are seeking a Store Operations Specialist to serve as the key liaison between Store Operations, Field Operations, and IT teams for technology initiatives impacting retail stores. This role supports operational and technical projects, evaluates store systems and processes, and ensures solutions align with business needs. The ideal candidate will combine retail operations experience with strong technical aptitude and project support capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Represent Store Operations and Field teams in IT projects affecting store operations.
Act as a liaison between IT, Store Operations, and Field Leadership to support technology initiatives.
Evaluate store systems, applications, and operational processes to ensure business objectives are met.
Participate in the assessment, design, development, pilot, implementation, and evaluation of new systems and programs.
Support operational and project changes that align with organizational goals and technology roadmaps.

Provide procedural, technical, and problem-solving support for store systems, including:
Point of Sale (POS)
Cash Office
Inventory Management
Markdown Systems
Back Office Systems

Conduct end-user testing and support evaluation of business cases and ROI analyses.
Prepare, analyze, and present operational and project-related data to stakeholders.
Assist with hardware and IT asset planning to ensure stores are equipped appropriately.
Follow up on day-to-day operations to ensure support processes are meeting business needs.

Qualifications
Required

5-8 years of experience in retail management and/or technology support environments.
Experience supporting retail systems such as POS, Cash Office, Inventory Management, Markdowns, and other Back Office applications.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and customer support skills.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience creating and analyzing reports and operational data.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to travel locally for regular store visits.

Preferred

Experience with Power BI dashboards and reporting.
Experience using Canva for presentations, communications, or training materials.
Exposure to project coordination, project analysis, or project-based work.
Background in retail operations, store management, IT support, help desk, or retail systems support.
