Summary
Our client is seeking an Engineer Technician II to support the testing and qualification of electronic products for production readiness within a hands-on manufacturing and lab environment.
This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined, detail-oriented technician who enjoys troubleshooting, working with electronic assemblies, and collaborating closely with engineering teams. The Technician will work independently while following established engineering instructions and documentation standards.
This is a great opportunity to build technical experience in electronics testing, lab operations, and manufacturing support within a production-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Testing & Lab Support

Conduct manual testing of electronic assemblies and document results

Set up and configure lab equipment per engineering instructions

Use test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and related tools

Support product qualification and production readiness testing
Equipment & Product Maintenance

Perform routine maintenance on test equipment and electronic products
-
Identify issues using structured troubleshooting methodologies
-
Escalate findings and document root cause observations as required
Documentation & Compliance
-
Maintain accurate product records, test results, and documentation
-
Read and interpret engineering documents, schematics, and diagrams
-
Ensure all testing and documentation meet established quality standards
Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheets, and word processing tools

Understanding of troubleshooting methodologies and root cause analysis

Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics and diagrams

Strong documentation and record?keeping skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
