Hiring for a Mechanical Engineer in Lafayette, IN (on-site, full time | 1st shift) — 12-month contract
Pay: $36 – $38 an hr

What you’ll do

Research, design, develop, and test mechanical products, systems, and components
Create and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics
Support new product introduction efforts by coordinating with cross-functional engineering teams
Maintain BOM structures and support prototype builds through parts coordination and tracking
Investigate equipment issues and partner with teams to recommend solutions and improvements

What we’re looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
2–4 years of experience (internship experience considered)
Experience with CAD tools and engineering-related software
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in team settings
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
