Production Supervisor

Location: Louisville, KY 
Shift: Onsite – Rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
Travel: None
Employment Type: W2 Contract through Epitec
Compensation: $36-38 per hour with Benefits

Position Overview

Epitec is seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations within a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in leadership positions, enjoy developing teams, and are passionate about driving safety, quality, and operational excellence.
As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee hourly production employees, manage workflow, and help ensure daily production goals are met while maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and develop hourly production team members
  • Organize workflow to achieve daily production, quality, and productivity targets
  • Monitor manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Drive team performance through accountability, engagement, and servant leadership
  • Build strong working relationships with employees, union representatives, and management
  • Identify and resolve operational issues through effective problem-solving
  • Ensure standardized work processes are followed consistently
  • Support a culture focused on safety, teamwork, and operational excellence

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience leading and developing hourly employees
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive manufacturing
  • Experience working in a union environment
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement principles and manufacturing best practices
  • Experience administering workplace policies and collective bargaining agreements
