Epitec is seeking a Material Planning & Logistics Supervisor to support a high?volume manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on supervisory leadership role focused on safety, quality, productivity, and team development within a union manufacturing environment.

Position Title: Material Planning & Logistics (MPL) Supervisor
Location: Louisville, KY 40241
Work Environment: Fully Onsite
Shift: Day Shift-Rotating shifts required (including nights and weekends)
Contract Type: W2 Contract – Long-Term
Pay Rate: $32+/hr. (Medical Benefits & PTO Included)
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly manufacturing workforce
- Organize workflow to meet daily production and quality targets
- Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives through coaching standardized work
- Verify production lines are running safely, efficiently, and producing quality parts
- Hold self and team accountable to high performance standards using servant leadership
- Build strong relationships with hourly employees, union representatives, and management
- Drive continuous improvement and exceed team and company performance goals
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of supervisory experience in a Material Planning & Logistics or manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving and people management skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional safety training or manufacturing leadership certifications (preferred, not required)
