Job Title: IT Project / Program Manager

Location: Chicago, Peoria, or Dallas (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM CST

Compensation: $53–$56/hr with medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with company match

We are seeking an experienced IT Project / Program Manager to lead the planning and execution of large-scale digital and software initiatives within a fast-paced enterprise environment. This role will focus on driving complex programs that integrate data analytics, DevOps, and modern application platforms, while ensuring alignment across cross-functional business and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project and program management across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Develop and manage project charters, schedules, budgets, and overall delivery plans
  • Partner with engineering, product, data analytics, and DevOps teams to drive execution
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Facilitate alignment across stakeholders and guide teams through scope definition and ways of working
  • Track progress, manage risks, and proactively resolve issues and blockers
  • Present updates, progress, and insights to senior leadership
  • Drive enterprise-level change management and strategic alignment across initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience in project or program management
  • Proven experience managing software or IT-focused projects from inception through delivery
  • Experience working in Agile development environments with engineering and product teams
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Confluence
  • Strong understanding of project management fundamentals including planning, scheduling, and governance
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Experience with Power BI and data-driven reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment across stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in large enterprise environments
  • Exposure to eCommerce or digital platform initiatives
  • Certifications such as PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or Change Management

Additional Considerations

  • Candidates must be local to one of the listed locations or able to relocate and work onsite from day one
  • This role requires true project/program management experience; candidates with only Scrum Master experience will not be considered
