Salesforce DevOps Architect
Location: Fully Remote (U.S.)
Pay: $55 – $57 Per Hour
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 Hours/Week
Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce DevOps Architect to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale cloud solutions in a highly collaborative environment. This role is heavily focused on Salesforce development and integrations, requiring someone who can build end-to-end solutions connecting Salesforce with Azure, AWS, APIs, enterprise applications, and modern cloud services.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of Salesforce expertise, cloud development experience, DevOps practices, and hands-on software engineering skills. This is an opportunity to work on large-scale modernization initiatives involving cloud-native architecture, automation, integrations, and AI-enabled services.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions using Salesforce Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, and Salesforce APIs
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce, cloud platforms, databases, and enterprise applications
- Develop and support RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and release processes
- Develop cloud-native and serverless applications using Azure and/or AWS technologies
- Support application deployments across development, testing, staging, UAT, and production environments
- Implement secure authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and secrets management tools
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure solutions
- Troubleshoot performance, integration, and deployment issues across enterprise systems
- Contribute to architecture, platform modernization, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of software development experience in enterprise environments
- Hands-on Salesforce development experience using Apex, LWC, Flow, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs
- Experience integrating Salesforce with Azure, AWS, and third-party enterprise applications
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms
- Experience with DevOps practices, Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments
- Experience with serverless technologies such as Azure Functions and/or AWS Lambda
- Experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Java, or Python
- Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, identity management, and secure API authentication
Preferred:
- Salesforce Developer Certification or Salesforce Administrator Certification
- Microsoft Azure Certification or AWS Certification
- Scrum/Agile certification such as CSM, PSM, SAFe, or equivalent
- Experience with AI-enabled cloud services, document processing, OCR, and cognitive technologies
- Experience with event-driven and microservices-based architectures
